The fourth stage of the FIA World Endurance Championship is also the most famous, important, and world-known event of the season: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Isotta Fraschini showed up for its first time on the French circuit with all the respect and attention possible, to never bite off more than she can chew. And when the checkered flag waved, among the 46 cars remaining from the 62 that started there was also the Tipo 6 LMH Competizione by the manufacturer from Milan! It was a fantastic result for the Italian team, whose celebrations in the pit lane at the end of the race seemed superior to those of the three on the podium. Also celebrating and congratulating the team was the new CEO of Isotta Fraschini Miguel Valldecabres.

Indeed, it wasn’t just the fact that Isotta Fraschini reached the finish line (nine retired cars in the hypercar class out of 23 starters, all extremely prestigious names) that surprised the huge audience present (329,000 people over the weekend, a record for the event) but also that it arrived just one position away from its first points valid for the world ranking, in the toughest race of the entire season.

Alessandro Fassina, Isotta Fraschini Milano President: «I consider this day a starting point and not an arrival point. It is a result obtained from great passion and competence. Special thanks to Michelotto Engineering, the drivers, and the Duqueine team for the great work done both on the track and at home»..

Claudio Berro, Isotta Fraschini Milano Motorsport Director: «What can I say? A plan that was respected that led to the culmination of the work of these years. After three races of development and preparation, this was the result we wanted: a flawless race, concentrating only on tires and fuel and zero problems. TheTipo 6 LMH Competizione was designed by a fabulous group of technicians from Michelotto Engineering, impeccable management on track by the Duqueine team, and drivers who made no mistakes and who I thank for allowing this unique result for Isotta Fraschini. Congratulations also to Ferrari for the victory and podium achieved and to Lamborghini for the solid result on debut. Five Italian cars in the first 14 places, a result that rewards Italian excellence in the high-performance automotive sector. I can only add that I am really happy about this weekend!»..

The next stop for Isotta Fraschini is going to be on the Interlagos track, in mid-July in Brazil, for the fifth round of the FIA WEC.
